There is something different in the shape of the grips. They are rounded a very small amount to be wider in the back and narrower to the front. This makes them fit my hand to the gun perfectly. They are classy looking, great texture for a secure grip, and tough as nails. I put them on a Cabot.

Love them. I put them on my M1911 folding knife. It matches my .50 GI perfectly.
Love these grips, they're thicker toward the back of the grip and thinner toward the front so that it fits your hand much better. The grip is great while shooting and it isn't too harsh while carrying. I bought two sets for two of my 1911s, i'll buy more in the future.
