I have been using these bullets out of Thompson Encores in 500S&W magnum for deer for a number of years. I push them to approx. 2100-2200 fps. They were designed for around 1300-1400fps but the solid copper gives them the strength to withstand the increase in speed. believe me I tested them throughly. Ive shot long distance competition long enough to see bullets explode and these don't .If you must shoot him in the pump house these will clean out the whole thing. I highly recommend these bullets.

Overall, these were quite impressive, however one bullet was unturned at its base. Fortunately it was overweight, and I was able to turn in down on my lathe, and it ended up only 0.8gr light in weight.
Very nice Projectile , Loads easy , use in 50 GI conversion less recoil than a 45 cal.
These bullets open almost immediately upon impact. The next best bullet Ive found is the Barnes 275 hollow cavity but they dont open unless they hit a solid bone. GCIs are also very accurate,out performing all other bullets i have tried. I recently purchased a 500 S&W pistol and am looking forward to trying them in it.
