Guncrafter Industries barrels are manufactured from 416R stainless steel and feature button pulled rifling with 6 lands and grooves. These barrels are over-sized, and require work to make them fit in your pistol. These are the same great barrels that we use in all of our custom 1911's.

    I’m not an expert. This is my first 1911 build. All I have gone off of are reviews and forums suggesting these barrels and what training I have as a manual machinist. This barrel is flawless... I don’t mean “really really good”... I mean I can’t find a single minuscule flaw anywhere on it. Every face, angle and bevel is so well crafted that I can’t find even one gripe or nit pick... I am blown away. Also Alex helped set me straight on which kind of barrel would be the best fit for my project and I appreciate the hard-earned wisdom. Incredible service with an incredible product. I’ll let you know how it shoots once my build is complete.

    First barrel to purchase from Gun Crafters and won't be the last. I have not installed it yet but the quality is outstanding!
