Finished in either Stainless Steel or Melonite finish, with contrasting TiN or DLC coated barrel and controls, this is one sharp looking pistol. Other finishes such as Cerakote, Nickel Boron and Bluing are available upon request. Our unique Multi-colored Shredder™ grips provide superior traction while being gentle on the shooter's hands. Made from a super tough resin infused with strands of copper, aluminum and other materials, these colorful grips have a vibrant, almost iridescent appearance. Take notice of the following features: The Polara™ slide serrations are machined "directional" and acts like "barbs" when you rack the slide. Likewise, the serrations on the front and back strap of the frame are machined directional as well, for optimal traction; with every shot fired the pistol will settle into a firmer grip. All Polaras™ have bull barrels with spiral fluting and a flush cut and deep crowned muzzle, nicely complimented by a keyed recoil spring plug. The tri-topped slide sports our unique Polara™ serrations/pattern and is left Monolithic and sports a heavy bevel on the muzzle, resulting in a very clean look. Thumb safety and slide stop come from our Hellcat series of pistols, both parts are designed for positive operations under extreme conditions, even when wearing gloves. The Polara™ is available in both Gov't and Commander size in .45 ACP, 9mm and .38 Super and 9x23 calibers.
